A biologist specializing in ecology, biogeography, and evolution, she is currently researching the effect of ecological and biogeographical characteristics of moorland (páramo) ecosystems on bird diversity in Colombia, using GIS, R, and other data analysis tools. Natalia has also assisted with administrative tasks related to research activities.
